Construction Supervisor

Position: Construction Supervisor (Contract)
Location: Cargo Fleet

We are delighted to be recruiting for our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing sector, for an experienced Construction Supervisor with a strong background in hazardous environments. This is an opportunity to join a technically strong and well-supported team, contributing to ongoing investment projects on a live COMAH site. The position offers real impact – from lifting operations and contractor management through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise site construction and lifting operations in a COMAH environment.
Develop and review RAMS, SSOW, and lift plans.
Lead safety briefings and ensure compliance with LOLER, CDM, and PSSR.
Manage subcontractor performance and resource planning.
Oversee site quality inspections and assist with commissioning and handover. Requirements:

HNC/HND or equivalent in Construction or Engineering.
Experience in site supervisory roles within oil, gas, or chemical sectors.
CSCS Gold Supervisory Card, CPCS A62 (Crane Supervisor), NPORS, IPAF, SSSTS/SMSTS.
Strong leadership, communication, and safety management skills. You’ll be working with a highly respected team on a site that is central to the UK’s process manufacturing sector.
