Site Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a long-term project based on Gresham Street, EC2. The project involves significant RC frame works, and candidates must have strong experience setting out reinforced concrete frames.

Experience with cut and carve works is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and overseeing RC frame works to a high level of accuracy

• Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and construction details

• Carrying out checks on line, level, and dimensions

• Managing and maintaining site engineering records and as-built information

• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams

• Ensuring works are carried out in line with programme and quality requirements

• Supporting QA processes, inspections, and sign-offs

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on RC frame projects

• Strong setting out experience for reinforced concrete structures

• Cut and carve experience is a strong advantage

• Competent with surveying equipment (total station, GPS, etc.)

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for setting-out works

• CSCS card required

Package

• Long-term freelance role

• Daily rate up to £300 per day (dependent on experience)
