Site Manager

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of an established main construction contractor in the York area.

Applicants will need to show a track record of excellent management and communication skills with the ability to proactively manage construction projects, including direct labour and sub-contractor resource and the ability to deliver quality construction projects within budget and programme timescales in a safe environment.

This company works as principal contractor on projects including:
Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, etc. Experience in these sectors is essential.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines.
• Produce construction phase plans and programming works.
• Co-ordination of various sub-contractors and direct delivery teams.
• Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients.
• Ordering materials for site and managing supply chain.
• Daily site diaries & briefings.

Experience required:

Must have:

• Experience working on commercial and industrial projects with values over 1m.
• Experience as No1 on Site.
• Ability to manage project costs and on the ground delivery at all stages.
• Qualifications:
  
  CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential.
• Degree or HNC/HND qualified is beneficial.

Remuneration:

A salary ranging from 45,000 to 60,000 (dependant upon experience) plus package.
