Senior Estimator

The Opportunity

An opportunity for an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to join a growing construction business with a long and secure pipeline of work.

This role would suit someone commercially minded who is comfortable pricing work end-to-end, engaging with the supply chain, and helping shape future workload. There is flexibility for an Estimator ready to step up, or an established Senior Estimator looking for more influence and less red tape.

This is not a corporate environment, you'll be working closely with the leadership and commercial team, with real input into how the business grows.

• Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction and roofing projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Pricing works properly with a focus on margin, risk and deliverability
• Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and assess quotations
• Building and maintaining strong supply chain relationships
• Supporting bid strategy and tender submissions
• Assisting with workload planning and pipeline development
• Working closely with the commercial and operational teams

You’ll likely:

• Have experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within construction
• Have exposure to roofing projects (or be comfortable pricing them)
• Be commercially astute and confident making pricing decisions
• Understand how to balance competitiveness with profitability
• Enjoy working in a growing, hands‑on business rather than a corporate setup
• Be comfortable taking ownership and influencing outcomes

• Estimating experience within construction (roofing experience beneficial)
• Strong commercial awareness
• Ability to engage confidently with subcontractors and suppliers
• Comfortable managing multiple tenders and deadlines
• Good working knowledge of estimating processes and tools
