Join our team at Countryview, Quarriers’ short breaks (respite) service for children and young people aged 5–20 with a additional support needs.

We are currently recruiting Relief Intensive Support Practitioners to help us create safe, fun, and meaningful experiences for the children we support.

Quarriers Countryview provides short breaks for children and young people with:

• Complex medical needs
• Physical and learning disabilities
• Autism and neurodiverse conditions
• Trauma‑related and emotional needs

Countryview is more than a service — it’s a place for play, growth, laughter, and connection

• Create safe, nurturing, and fun experiences for every child
• Support personal care, therapeutic routines, and daily living (full training provided)
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
• Encourage play, sensory exploration, outdoor activities, and skill‑building
• Provide calm, compassionate support during times of distress

Your presence gives families the chance to rest, knowing their child is in safe & caring place. .

Quarriers is offering relief contracts to people who can support the service on an ADHOC basis and when extra support is needed. The service operates 24/7 with staff covering early. late, sleepover and waking night shifts. Availability to support the service during weekends is required.
