Do you love working with children and helping them have a happy, safe, and fun lunchtime?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Midday Assistant to join our friendly team at St Peter’s Church of England Primary School.
Our school is full of amazing children and a supportive staff team who work together to make every day special. Lunchtime is an important part of the day, and we need someone who can help make it enjoyable and positive for all our pupils.
What will you docommentary?
- Support children while they eat, encouraging good manners and healthy choices.
- Help create a safe and happy playground environment where children can play and make friends.
- Be a positive role model, showing kindness, patience, and respect.
- Work as part of a team to make lunchtime run smoothly.
What are we looking for?
- A calm, caring, and friendly approach.
- Someone who enjoys being around children and wants to make a difference.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience working with children (in school or other settings) is helpful but not essential.
- A team player who can also use their own initiative.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
