• Support young people with their daily routines, including getting them ready for school, preparing for meal times and planning activities.
• Ensure children receive the highest level of support.
• Support senior staff with timely updates.
• Promote individuality rather than a one‑size‑fits‑all approach.
• Complete and update care plans regularly, adding any additional requirements.
• Help maintain a warm, homely environment through light housekeeping.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join fun activities such as trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights, or creative projects.

Shian house is situated in the small village of Balfron, surrounded by striking scenery. The house itself is a spacious five‑bedroom house with a games room, quiet room, large lounge and dining area. The extensive garden provides opportunities for young people, including a trampoline, football goals, swings and raised beds for growing vegetables used in meals prepared by the cook.

• Previous experience is preferred or you have cared for a friend or family member.
• Desire to work towards SSSC qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Open to ongoing development and learning with support from a friendly team.
