This exciting BDM role will lead the way in the UK market to drive our Paslode Brand within the New Build Residential Sector. This role focuses on engaging large contractors and local house builders, building strong relationships, and understanding their supply chains to drive business through our network of major channel partners. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in unlocking a key growth area for Paslode in the UK.
This position requires a blend of strategic leadership, business development expertise, and technical acumen. You will interact with stakeholders at all levels—from site teams to headoffice—requiring adaptability and strong communication skills. A core aspect of the role involves coaching and developing multi-level contacts to ensure alignment and maximize growth potential. You will be accountable for shaping and expanding strategic sales channels while identifying high-impact opportunities to strengthen market share among leading contractors and house builders.
Collaboration with the UKI Paslode Management Team will be essential to align with business strategy and deliver sustainable sales growth. This role will cover South Area and the person for this role will need to be based in one of these areas.
- Drive sales growth the Paslode product range within the New Build Residential sector through strategic planning and execution.
- Identify and convert key contractors currently using competitor products.
- Manage accounts and develop new business opportunities by building strong relationships with decision-makers.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers and channel partners to establish long-term, mutually beneficial end-user relationships.
- Understand customer needs and present innovative solutions.
- Represent the brand at industry associations, trade events, and networking opportunities.
- Share commercial insights and contribute to growth planning with the UK Paslode management team.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.
- Present data-driven growth opportunities to management and stakeholders in a clear, impactful manner.
- Analyze internal and external data to identify strategic opportunities.
- Develop a clear activity map, highlighting relevant construction activity and strategic opportunities.
- Promote Paslode’s value proposition to future generations through campaigns
- Apply the ITW Business Model to deliver measurable results.
