Inventory Controller

As an Inventory Controller you will be managing stock availability across multiple suppliers, ensuring inventory levels are aligned with sales demand, site capacity, and agreed stock budgets.

The role supports purchasing and forecasting functions through accurate data, analysis, and proactive inventory planning to maximise availability, control working capital, and minimise unnecessary costs.

• Stock replenishment towards the sales demand and budgeted stock levels
• Produce accurate inventory data, analysis and reports
• Support the creation and maintenance of forecasts
• Plan stock holding and inbound deliveries to ensure capacities are not exceeded and costs are minimised
• Analyse the performance of new products and support corrective actions
• Identify opportunities for improvements
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies
• Other adhoc duties

• Maths and English GCSEs or equivalent relevant experience
• Excel skills; including data analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines while maintaining quality
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service levels
• Positive, proactive attitude with a problem-solving approach
• Ability to work effectively within a team and on own initiative
