Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a well-established, family-run business located in Northampton. Our automotive client needs a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Competitive basic salary circa £38,000, depending on experience.
• Departmental bonus scheme to reward your hard work and dedication.
• No weekend work, with occasional overtime available on Saturday mornings.

• Conduct servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles.
• Adhere to manufacturer and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Perform diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults.
• Carry out MOT testing.
• Document information about servicing and repairs, ensuring it meets company policies.

• Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, is preferred.
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment.
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician should be your passion and you should enjoy all aspects of your work.
• You should have your own tools.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday (08:00–17:30).
