Are you an experienced and customer‑focused Service Advisor looking for your next challenge? At Toyota Reading, we are looking for a professional and proactive individual to join our busy aftersales team. This role would be ideal for an automotive‑experienced Service Advisor, or for someone looking to take their first steps into the industry as we offer full training.

What You'll Do
  • Be the first point of contact for service customers, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
  • Manage service bookings and keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
  • Liaise with a team of 8 technicians to ensure smooth workshop scheduling and vehicle turnaround.
  • Accurately raise job cards, cost estimates, and invoices in line with company and manufacturer standards.
  • Explain service, repair, and maintenance requirements clearly to customers.
  • Handle customer queries both face‑to‑face and over the phone / email.
  • Ensure compliance with brand and regulatory standards at all times.
  • Work towards daily and monthly team targets to support department success.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry is ideal.
  • A proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a high‑volume environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, able to manage 15+ customers daily.
  • A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑focused environment.
  • A proactive and professional approach with a strong sense of accountability.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
