Role

Opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Coastal Properties Team as a Receptionist/Admin Assistant at Southwold Caravan Site.

What you will do
  • Greet customers and handle in-person, phone and email enquiries.
  • Process caravan and campsite bookings.
  • Work as part of a small team with key-holding responsibilities.
  • Administer bookings using website systems and process in-person electronic payments.
  • Help present the site and related areas; use initiative to resolve issues and follow response processes.
  • Attend to daily running of a busy caravan and campsite, including weekend and seasonal demand, with some duties outdoors and in the office.
What you will need
  • Flexible to respond to seasonal service demands; excellent communication, care, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Office experience with awareness of Health and Safety, welfare, maintenance and repair.
Working arrangements

The role has variable hours, averaging 30 hours per week over the year, with more hours March–November and fewer December–March. Some weekend work and bank holiday working may apply. Hours may vary up to 37 per week to meet seasonal needs. Bank holidays included.

Salary and contract

Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 pro rata (Band
2).

Contract:

Permanent.

Hours:

30 per week (annualised hours).
