1818 Auctioneers, located in the J36 Rural Auction Centre, is dedicated to creating an exceptional antique auction experience for both buyers and sellers. Our knowledgeable and passionate team works hard to ensure that every client gets the most out of their auction process. We provide convenient valuation services through online requests or pre-scheduled valuation events. Our purpose‑built offices and salerooms are designed to offer a seamless, enjoyable, and professional auction experience for all individuals who engage with our services.
The RoleWe are looking to welcome a new part‑time Cashier / Administrator to the team. This is a varied and hands‑on role at the heart of our busy saleroom operation, working closely with our valuers and saleroom staff to ensure the smooth running of auctions and customer services.
Two days per weekWe are seeking someone who is organised, personable and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. The role will include:
- Receiving and recording payments
- Managing phones and responding to emails
- Recording online payments
- Working with the saleroom team to price Postage & Packing
- Providing excellent customer service
- Supporting valuers and saleroom staff with administrative duties
The successful candidate will be confident handling financial transactions, comfortable communicating with customers, and able to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently.
