Sheq Advisor

The SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for providing support and advice on all aspects of health, safety, wellbeing and environmental management, developing documentation, meeting legal, regulatory and company standards and helping deliver a culture of continual improvement.

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Experience:

• SHEQ: 3 years (preferred)
• COSHH: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• NEBOSH Qualification (required)

Job Role

• Managing department helpdesk, emails & taking calls regarding SHEQ & Compliance issues and reassigning to relevant staff member.
• Providing a high level of customer service excellence & support in representing the department to any interested party.
• Supporting the collation & preparing of reports & documentation on routine and or adhoc time frames.
• Liaising through effective & clear communication with internal & external customers and where required chasing information to meet SLAs/ KPIs.
• Maintaining electronic records & systems ensuring accuracy of information & reports.
• Use of a CAFM (concept evolution) system, generating, issue, updating & closing out of SHEQ job cards/ PPM records
• General administration and other duties to support the department
• Supporting the department regarding CSR initiatives.
• Assist in conducting site compliance audits and signing off tasks.
• Providing SHEQ advise and support to sites
• Assist in preparing concept loads for new contracts using excel spreadsheets.
• Attend contract startup meetings.
• Collating documents and evidence for ROSPA and BSC annual awards applications.
• Assist in setting up IT equipment if required.
