Senior Accountant

Overview

A growing and successful accountancy practice based in Budleigh Salterton is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team, preparing and reviewing year end accounts, tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax, along with overseeing VAT, bookkeeping and a wider all‑around role. This is a key right‑hand support position to the firm’s managers and partners. You will have increasing client management responsibility and opportunities for team development and career progression.

Based in Budleigh Salterton, this well‑established and successful firm acts for a wide range of clients across varying industries and turnover, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, SMEs and OMBs. The firm has a good reputation and has been experiencing a period of growth. Joining as Senior Accountant, based from the firm’s Budleigh Salterton offices, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of year end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and oversee wider services, acting for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will have increasing client management responsibility, help develop and mentor teams, and progress in your accountancy practice career within a successful and growing chartered firm of accountants.

• You may be qualified, or part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA/ACCA, etc., or have developed your career through experience in accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients.
• Candidate should be at Senior Accountant level and seeking a challenging new career opportunity.
• Full or part‑time working hours can be explored, flexible around the preferences of the right candidate.

Circa £29,000 – £36,000 dependent on background and experience, plus benefits. Negotiable. Please apply online.
