Practice Bookkeeper

Position: Practice Bookkeeper (Permanent)
Location: Saint Peters

TPF Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a long-established independent accountancy practice in Ramsgate who are looking to appoint a Practice Bookkeeper to join their growing team of five. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, friendly firm in a varied, client-focused role.

The Role

This is a an all-round bookkeeping position with responsibility for managing a diverse client portfolio. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, support clients with software, and help maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Full bookkeeping duties for multiple clients

Preparing accounts up to trial balance

Completing VAT returns and CIS submissions

Supporting clients with software

Providing client-facing support and guidance

Liaising with clients and ensuring a high standard of service

Requirements Candidate Profile

Experience with in an accountancy practice (ideal)

Strong bookkeeping skills with excellent accuracy

Competent user of Quickbooks or Xero

Confident communicator and comfortable in a client-facing role

Able to work independently within a small, supportive office
