Accounts Assistant
Shrewsbury
Permanent
Mon – Fri – 9 to 5pm with 30min lunch
Salary – £26,000 - £27,500 per annum
We are recruiting for a well-established business based in Shrewsbury. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to take on a varied position on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for:
* Coding invoices and inputting invoices/credit notes.
* Reconciling supplier statements.
* Prepare payment runs.
* Resolving supplier queries.
* Posting bank transactions on a daily basis.
* Cover for visa reconciliations and postings.
* Nominal ledger.
* Prepare and post journals.
* Accruals.
* Balance sheet reconciliations.
* To assist in month end.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role. You should have strong knowledge of both purchase and sales ledgers and have good MS Excel skills are essential.
