The Opportunity

Looking for a passionate on field person to deliver day to day advisory services to farmers at a globally recognized Agri-tech startup.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field agronomists and farmer service associates.

Plan and execute crop advisory programs and demonstration trials across assigned regions.

Ensure timely delivery of technical guidance on crop management, soil health, irrigation, and pest control.

Monitor field activities, collect data, and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.

Support farmers onboarding, training sessions, and community engagement programs.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as adoption rates, yield improvement, and farmer satisfaction.

Coordinate with sales, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Identify field challenges and recommend practical agronomic solutions.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local agricultural regulations.

Must-Haves

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field (Master's preferred).

5+ years of field experience in agronomy or agricultural extension, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong technical knowledge of crops, soil science, fertilizers, and pest management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Ability to work in rural and field-based environments.

Proficient in data collection tools and basic reporting systems.

Nice-to-Haves

Ownership of farmer success and income outcomes across different farmer archetypes

Strong problem-solving ability and process discipline on ground

Good understanding of vegetable farming

Tech-savvy and analytical mindset to support data-led decisions

Not a Fit

Someone unwilling to travel or work on the field

Lacks basic understanding of horticulture or crop management
