£35,000 per annum, Uckfield (outskirts - own transport essential), Monday to Friday 8:30am-4pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am - 1:30pm (paid at 1.5x in addition to the annual salary - approx £1700 per year) ,Permanent, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Additional annual bonus, Casual dress, Company pension, Employee discount, On-site parking, Own transport essential
The Role
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Fulfilment Manager to join a modern, innovative, and fast-growing business in the health and wellbeing sector. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of four warehouse and order processing operatives, ensuring smooth and accurate fulfilment operations. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in maintaining high standards and driving efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee picking, packing, and dispatch of orders across all sales channels
Maintain accuracy and minimise dispatch errors within agreed KPIs
Investigate and resolve fulfilment issues, implementing solutions
Manage stock levels and replenishment
Motivate and lead the team, conducting regular 1:1 sessions
Ensure sufficient staffing levels and manage rota requirements
Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Adhere to hygiene, health and safety, and GDPR compliance
Train and retrain fulfilment staff as required
Maintain tidiness and standards within the fulfilment area
Manage building maintenance issues and report as necessary
Be willing to work under pressure and take initiative when needed
Requirements
Strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail are essential, along with good Maths and English. Previous experience in fulfilment, warehouse management, or order processing is highly desirable. This role could suit someone who has worked as a Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Coordinator, or Dispatch Manager.
