Quay Crane Operator

Responsible for the safe, efficient, and productive movement of containers to and from vessels.

• Performs a pre-shift check to ensure there are no defects with their crane prior to commencement of work.
• Operates quay cranes /mobile quay cranes on the terminal in accordance with company policies.
• Positions the crane safely on the vessel as per the vessel supervisor and hatch man's instructions.
• Coordinates with the supervisor and hatch man for instructions with regards to the loading and discharging of cargo.
• Undertakes routine cleaning of QC cabins and windows.
• Reports vessel or cargo damages accordingly.
• Ensures that all cargo is handled safely.
• Operates other terminal container handling equipment as instructed and required.
• Performs other duties as required.

High School or equivalent

A minimum of 2 years' experience operating a quay crane. Preferably have prior experience with terminal operating systems, especially MACH
