* Strong background in designing, developing, and automating solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS.

* Experience supporting big data, AI/ML, or automation initiatives within federal or DoD environments.

DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to support a classified program. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying mission-ready applications and data pipelines in secure AWS IL6+ environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong software development foundation, Dev Sec Ops  expertise, and experience integrating AI/ML automation within secure government systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
* Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable software solutions within AWS IL6+ classified environments.

* Collaborate with AI/ML teams to operationalize data pipelines and automate machine learning workflows.

* Provide architectural and technical support to ensure system designs meet identity, data, and security requirements.

* Contribute to Dev Sec Ops  practices and CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, continuous delivery of mission-critical software.

* Support leadership and program stakeholders by offering subject matter expertise in security architecture, automation, and data integration.

* Develop and maintain Python-native ML pipelines and associated deployment tools.

* Implement and automate testing, monitoring, and configuration management within cloud environments.

* Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems. The selected candidate will also possess:
