Our client is a fast-growing leader in the Data Privacy industry. Their patented hybrid artificial intelligence technology is currently used by Fortune 500 companies to help protect customer/consumer data and also comply with privacy laws around the world.

ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Writer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research, gather, and understand technical information from subject matter experts to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Develop and maintain user manuals, guides, technical specifications, and other documentation for software, hardware, or other technical products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and product managers, to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Edit and proofread technical documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guides.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, updates, and changes to ensure documentation remains relevant and accurate.
  • Work closely with product teams to understand new features and functionalities and translate technical details into user-friendly documentation.
  • Assist in creating tutorials, FAQs, and other educational materials to support end-users.
  • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on documentation and make necessary improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand documentation.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, or Markdown.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is desirable.
  • Experience with graphic design tools for creating visuals in documentation is a bonus.
