Senior FP&A

A national education organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning and analysis for an assigned portfolio. This role is remote, but candidate must be located in the Washington DC metro area.

• Support the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial planning
• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, including variance analysis versus budget and prior periods
• Assist with building financial models and analysis related to new programs and strategic initiatives
• Identify risks and opportunities within forecasts and provide insights to leadership
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial planning processes and reporting
• Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to support decision-making and operational efficiency
• Develop reporting and analysis on key performance indicators, financial statements, trends, and operational drivers
• Assist with benchmarking, financial performance tracking, and ad hoc analysis for leadership
• Provide insights to explain financial variances and support business planning efforts

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis or corporate FP&A
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience with financial planning or reporting systems such as Adaptive Planning or BI360 preferred
