Associate Accounting Manager

Overview

The Associate Accounting Manager supports the Controller and senior finance leadership in managing day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and helping maintain a strong internal control environment.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
