The Accountant is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and company policies. This role plays a key part in the month-end and year-end close processes and partners with internal stakeholders to maintain strong financial controls and reporting.

• Prepare and maintain accurate account reconciliations, including cash, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliation of subledger activity to the general ledger.
• Prepare and post routine journal entries related to accruals, prepaids, allocations, and other period-end adjustments.
• Assist with cash management activities, including cash reconciliations and support of cash flow reporting.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to requests, and assisting with the resolution of audit findings.
• Help maintain and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Assist with accounting system implementations, upgrades, and process enhancements.
• Provide basic financial analysis, variance explanations, and reporting to support management decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operational teams to support overall business objectives.
