Position: Shuttle Driver
Location: CHRISTUS Tyler
Shift(s): PM Shifts, between 2 pm – 12 am (Full‑time & part‑time available)
Pay: Hourly base pay of $13.50/hr plus tips

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform
• Possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license carried with driver, at all times, while on duty
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record
• Courteously assist customers by answering questions, or directing them to the Facility Manager if necessary
• Report any accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location)
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed

Education/

Experience:

No higher than high school education or one month of related experience, training or equivalent combination.

License Requirement: Valid state driver’s license with current address and acceptable DMV record.

Availability: Ability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends as needed.

Language

Skills:

Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; present information to customers and employees.

Mathematical

Skills:

Add, subtract two‑digit numbers; multiply and divide by tens and hundreds; perform these operations using American monetary units.

Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

Physical Demands: Stand, walk and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb or balance; may lift or move up to 75 lbs.
