Shuttle Driver – CHRISTUS Tyler

Shift: PM Shifts, between 2pm - 12am (Full‑time & Part‑time Available!)

Pay:
Hourly base pay of $13.50/hr plus tips.

• Responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time, in uniform.
• Carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license with you each duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Courteously assist customers by answering any questions and direct them to the Facility Manager if needed.
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards to the garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways around the garage.
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education/Experience

Required:

Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

License Requirement:
Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license, with a current address and an acceptable DMV record.

Availability to Work:
Special shift requirements may vary; availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekend may be required.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; effective presentation in one‑on‑one situations.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide two‑digit numbers, 10’s and 100’s, and perform these operations using units of American money.

Appearance:
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, balance; may occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
