Position Summary:

You will be part of a meat team and help with the quality, packaging, and display of meat items for members. Your attention to detail and steady hand support a quality product and customer service on the front lines of the department.

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains work area according to company policies; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Models high quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; applies related action plans and Open Door Policy.
• Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; communicates progress and information; identifies improvement opportunities and adapts to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances.
