• Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting, and assessment of economic trends and community needs.
• Model and enforce proper Customer/Member service approaches, addressing customer complaints and issues within company guidelines and standards.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as active community members.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations, including asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance reviews.
• Direct associates to maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and records.
• Supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, and fostering a belonging mindset.
• Ensure quality eyewear provision by consulting with members, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment.
• Uphold the Company’s Open Door Policy through listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions.
• Coordinate and complete job‑related activities, develop stakeholder relationships, identify goals, measure progress, and address improvement opportunities.
• Promote a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance, supporting company mission and values in all business processes.

• Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and rules.

• Experience supervising associates.
