American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and a TX or compact RN license.

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Unit consists of 18 private rooms and one semi-private room with a maximum census of 20 patients
• Patient population ranges from young adults through geriatrics with a broad range of care needs
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Telemetry monitoring capabilities on unit
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Approximately half of scheduled shifts will include weekend coverage
• Epic EMR — experience required

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible:
  Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• RTO of no more than 3 days will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
