Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• CVICU setting with an average daily census of 7 patients across 10 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Floating required to cardiac stepdown and other units of equal or lesser acuity
• Day shift schedule: 3x12‑hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Key skills: interpretation of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ failure management, intra‑aortic balloon pump (IABP), post‑cardiac surgery care, pulmonary artery line/Swan‑Ganz monitoring, arterial line management, central line and PICC line care, continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilated patient care, and ABG interpretation

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or equivalent specialty experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• ECMO experience
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Dark gray scrubs required
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; specifically, candidates living in the following TX counties are excluded:
  Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and is not permitted during the first week of orientation
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• First‑time travelers should check with their recruiter regarding eligibility for this position
