RN - Behavioral Health

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for patients experiencing a range of mental health conditions. The RN will work with adults and geriatrics diagnosed with various disorders, including Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and Substance Use Disorders.

• Monitor and assess patients' mental health status and vital signs.
• Implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions.
• Administer medications and educate patients and families on care regimens.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Epic charting.
• Float between units as required, providing flexible care across departments.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health nursing.
• Travel nursing experience is required.
• Current BLS and SAMA certifications.
• Epic charting experience is required.
• Preferred experience in community hospitals and previous charge experience.
