UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. It specializes in advanced acute care medicine and offers a Level 1 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, region’s only EMCO program, and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes over 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame before and during a surgical procedure.

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Must maintain current Texas RN License
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Preferred

Job Requirements:

• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Prior operating room experience
