Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift position in Texas requiring proficiency in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology cases.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Patient population includes orthopedic, general, neurological, vascular, and urologic surgical cases
- Experience with Davinci Robots, endovascular, and ophthalmic cases is preferred
- Day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week
- Epic charting system experience required
- Travel experience required for this position
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved
- No requested time off allowed during the first week of orientation
- First-time travelers for this specialty will not be considered
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Experience in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology surgeries required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Candidates residing within 50 miles or in specified counties are not eligible
- Former permanent staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as a traveler
