Job Description:

- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse
- Location: - Operating Room
- Travel Experience Required: Yes

- Years of Experience: 2 years
- Patient Ratio Experience: 1:1
- Charting System: Epic (required)
- Trauma Level I Experience: Required

Certifications:
- BLS (required)

Skills:
- Preferred skills include Vascular procedures such as:
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair
- Arteriovenous fistula repair
- Carotid angioplasty
- Carotid artery stenting
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- Femoral popliteal bypass graft

- Experience in Neurology procedures including:
- ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion)
- Anterior cervical fusion
- Craniotomy
- Kyphoplasty
- Laminectomy/discectomy
- Lumbar fusion
- XLIF (Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion)

- General Surgery skills like:
- Appendectomy
- Cholecystectomy
- Colon resection
- Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical)
- Laparoscopic assisted procedures
- Thyroidectomy (partial/total)
- Whipple

- Orthopedic skills such as:
- Arthroscopy
- Closed reduction of fractures
- Open reduction of fractures
- Total joint replacement

- Opportunistic experience in Ophthalmology:
- Cataract extraction/implant (preferred)
- Eye trauma (preferred)
- Glaucoma surgery (preferred)

- Experience in Robotics (preferred) including:
- Colorectal Robotic Surgery
- Gastrointestinal robotic surgery
- Gynecologic robotic surgery
- Neurological robotic surgery
- Orthopedic robotic surgery
- Otolaryngologic robotic surgery
- TORS (Trans Oral Robotic Surgery)
- Urologic robotic surgery

- Urology skills including:
- Cystoscopy
- Laparoscopic assisted cases
- Nephrectomy
- Prostatectomy
- Transurethral resection of the prostate

Work Setting:
- General OR
- Patient Ratios:
Days, Nights, and Weekends: 1:1

Call Requirement:
- Yes, with minimal call requirements (1-2 shifts every 6 weeks)

Daily Census:
- 45 patients

Number of Operating Rooms:
- 14

Patient Age Groups:
- Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Diagnoses:
- Required Experience:
- Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, Urology

- Preferred Experience:
- Davinci Robots, endovascular, and ophthalmology procedures are a bonus.

Shift Details:
- 5x8 hour Days (06:30-15:00)
- Rotating day off
- Pre-approved time off: 2 requests
