Job Description
Are you a mechanical expert who leads by example? SNELLING is looking for a Working Shop Supervisor to join a client in overseeing their second-shift operations. This isn't a "desk job"-you'll spend about 80% of your time on the floor, hands-on with the equipment, and 20% managing the flow of the shop.

Our client specializes in rebuilding heavy equipment for the mining industry. While that's a niche field, we will fully train you on our specific rebuilding process if you bring a rock-solid background in heavy manufacturing leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead the second-shift team in the teardown, repair, and assembly of heavy industrial machinery.

• Ensure safety protocols are followed and production goals are met.

• Operate overhead cranes and pneumatic tools to move and repair massive components.

• Handle basic administrative duties, including shift hand-offs and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven Leadership:
Experience as a Lead, Foreman, or Supervisor in a heavy manufacturing or industrial repair environment.

• Mechanical Mastery:
High aptitude for mechanical systems (engines, hydraulics, or heavy machinery).

• Heavy Tooling:
Proficiency with pneumatic tools; experience with overhead cranes is a major plus.

• Clean Record:
Must have a valid Driver's License.

• Reliability: A track record of "good tenure"-we are looking for someone who wants a long-term home.
