Job Summary

The Maintenance Electronics Technician will be responsible for safe operation and preventive maintenance of all the plant equipment and support areas throughout the entire facility. The Technician must have advanced knowledge in reading schematics, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of facility equipment to include AC/DC controls, PLCs, robotics, scales, X‑rays, palletizers, conveyors, etc., along with all support and building services.

Qualifications
  • Technical skills in mechanical and electrical fields (e.g., PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical engineering, etc.).
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance in assigned area of operation.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
  • Promotes safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment.
  • Complete all evaluations, and training set by Supervisor.
  • Education & Experience:
    • Associate degree required.
    • 5 – 10 years of experience in Electrical, Robotics, Automation.
    • PM system and parts tracking (Preferred)
    • Maintenance in manufacturing facility: 5 years (Preferred)
    • Food Manufacturing facility experience: 3 years (Preferred / not required)
Key Responsibilities

NOTE:

  • Perform predictive & preventive maintenance and machine repair.
  • Provide technical support and perform preventive maintenance for all day‑to‑day operations of equipment and documentation and respond to trouble calls from all departments.
  • Ensure maintenance is performed in a timely manner and work closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.
  • Examine and test devices in operation for trouble allocation.
  • Complete all assigned yearly training (Safety, Food Safety, Personnel).
  • General knowledge of all regulatory policies.
Work Environment
  • This position requires working on the production floor in a cold environment with an average temperature of 40°F. The employee will be exposed to moderate noise levels, fast‑paced operations, moving machinery, wet and dry areas, and must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE). The role requires interaction with employees, contractors, and supervisors in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Physical Demands
  • The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, often over eight hours per shift. The employee must be able to use hands, fingers, arms, and reach as part of daily tasks.
