A Location Leader is responsible for the overall function of a specific Isaiah 117 House Location. He or she will support and supervise the location staff and oversee the overall operations of the location, engage the community through awareness events, is responsible for the financial integrity of the location in accordance with one of our non-negotiable standards, “the way we handle our finances,” and raises the annual budget for the location.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:Leadership
- Responsible for the overall function of the location
- Oversight of construction and home maintenance when applicable
- Plan and coordinate team building opportunities for location staff
- Cultivate relationships with child welfare department
- Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and rotation of location’s Local Advisory Team (LAT) members
- Oversight of volunteer cultivation and training
- Oversight of marketing and social media presence for the location
- Oversight of Isaiah 117’s brand standards
- Coordinate awareness events (fairs, fall festivals, farmers markets, etc.)
- Coordinate and perform all speaking engagements (keynotes, workshops, seminars)
- Connect the audience with the organization’s mission
- Invite people in to participate in the mission at your location
- Be the face of Isaiah 117 House at your location
- Galvanize communication regarding Isaiah 117 House at your location
- Responsible for interpreting and explaining monthly financial reports
- Review and approve/validate all expense transactions for the location
- Responsible for adhering to the location’s budget
- Document and communicate monthly in-kind donations for the location
- Maintain relationship and communication with the location’s treasurer
- Develop and execute a yearly fundraising plan
- Implement required yearly organizational events (golf, lemonade, luncheons)
- Responsible for donor cultivation and retention
- Ability to multitask
- Strong work ethic
- Must be on-call at least 10 days of each month
- Attendance at organizational meetings and trainings is required
- Complete continuing organizational education as requested or assigned
- Must have approved office space - this is not a remote/hybrid position
- Ability to navigate stairs may be necessary
- Some heavy lifting may be necessary
- The position of Location Leader is a full-time position and reports to a Regional Coordinator or State Director
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365
All employees are required to attend in-person meetings and trainings which can include travel.
