* Job Summary:

** Directly works with suppliers and vendors regarding inventory management and third-party repairs. Oversees material handling equipment (MHE) inventory, purchasing processes, and places orders as needed to replenish stock. Leads MHE team and assigns work tasks to partners.
** SCOPE OF WORK
** Displays a list of typical duties and accountabilities. List is not based on order of priority.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
* Works in conjunction with upper management to determine pay and budget for department.
* Oversees material handling equipment workflow, repairs, and maintenance team.
* Works closely with third parties to ensure repairs are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
* Maintains material handling spare part inventories.
* Monitors repair documentation and preventative maintenance work order processes (internally and for third parties).
* Documents and tracks material handling equipment assets and usage.
* Assists with other maintenance related tasks as assigned.

* Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*** Advanced knowledge of material handling equipment and repairs required.
* Advanced knowledge of inventory management processes required.
* Advanced knowledge of electrical troubleshooting procedures required.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Intermediate mathematical skills.
* Intermediate knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
* Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations.
* Ability to work on-call and flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
* Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
* Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
* Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
* Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.
* Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
