Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney to join our practice. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career attorney interested in gaining substantial courtroom experience, client interaction, and mentorship in Texas family law.

Responsibilities
  • Managing family law cases from intake through resolution
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Appearing at hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Client communication and case strategy development
  • Working collaboratively with attorneys and support staff
Miscellaneous Duties
  • Stay updated on family law developments to provide accurate legal advice
  • Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and client trust
  • Manage caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Develop professional relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance legal knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to firm marketing through networking, legal articles, and presentations to attract clients and showcase expertise
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in family law
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice in Texas (or awaiting bar results)
  • Strong writing, organization, and communication skills
  • Interest in family law and litigation and skillset to give clients an exceptional experience and litigate effectively
  • Ability to manage deadlines and client expectations
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $75,000-$120,000 (Commensurate with experience)
