Overview
Are you someone who has walked the path of recovery and wants to help others find hope along the way? Join our team as a Peer Specialist and use your lived experience to inspire and support individuals on their mental health recovery journey.
In this role, you'll provide guidance, understanding, and encouragement to those facing mental health or substance use challenges. You'll facilitate groups, share your story in empowering ways, and help individuals develop tools for wellness and resilience.
Requirements- High school diploma or GED
- Self-identified lived experience with mental illness or dual diagnosis and at least one year in recovery
- Knowledge of recovery models, trauma-informed care, and peer philosophy preferred
