. Position offers a sign‑on bonus.

• Conduct nutrition assessments and provide diet education to patients.
• Educate patients, family members, and facility staff in concepts of nutrition and diet modification.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences and be a great team player.

• Willingness to cross‑train to provide nutrition care to various patient populations and provide outpatient RD coverage at Cardiac Rehab program.
• Participation in Performance Improvement and Patient Satisfaction projects.
• Excellent communication, customer service, computer, and time management skills.

• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
• For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
  
  Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the ACEND.
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire; RD/RDN credentials required at the time of hire in some states or facilities.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice; state certification/licensure required at the time of hire in some states or facilities.
