• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, as per supervisor’s instructions.
• Supervise clients during activities to ensure safety.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as state and federal laws.
• Report significant changes in the client’s environment, behavior, or circumstances to the supervisor promptly.
• Monitor the client’s environment for safety hazards and take appropriate actions to eliminate or report them.

• Must have a cheerful demeanor and a helpful attitude, even in stressful situations.
• Ability to carry out duties effectively, cooperate with team members, and support colleagues daily.
• Experience or competency in personal assistance services as per TAC 40 Chapter 97.
• Must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate competency to perform assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions.
• Complete required training programs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds continuously.
• Physical requirements include bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, walking, and standing over 75% of the shift, with sitting about 25%.
• Ability to recognize differences in sounds and maintain patience, tact, and confidentiality.
• Work independently with awareness that errors can have serious consequences.
• Ability to observe changes in client appearance, attitude, and condition.
