Job Overview
BSWTSJH is looking for an Athletic Trainer for KILGORE COMMUNITY COLLEGE. The individual will work in a community college setting as a staff Athletic Trainer. The staff athletic trainers collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, X‑ray personnel, and therapists. They work under the supervision of the school Athletic Director or Head Athletic Trainer and the Director of Sports Medicine for Baylor Scott $ White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide care and prevention of athletic injury.
- Rehabilitation of injured athletes.
- Travel with high‑risk sports teams.
- Cover practices and games.
- Manage the training room.
- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer or eligible for the Texas State AT License.
- BSWTSJH requires eligibility for Texas State Licensure (graduates from accredited programs after 2004, or completion of an internship with 1800 contact hours and required courses).
- Individuals already BOC certified may not need to sit for the Texas State Licensure exam.

Salary range between $56,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and degree level. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, CEU allotment, BOC renewal, and Texas license reimbursement. This position is dedicated to the school and has minimal outside requirements; additional compensation will be added for non‑school related work.
