Residential Trainer​/Floater

Responsibilities

• Will float between schedule times and possibly other 24-hour residential programs.
• If applicable, awakens clients each morning and ensures they are dressed, fed, and ready for their daily activities.
• Gives instructions regarding desirable health and personal habits.
• Plans and leads recreational activities.
• Follows approved behavioral intervention guidelines as directed by Psychologist/IDT.
• Escorts clients to designated activities.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• If applicable, prepares clients for bed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in intellectual disabilities and/or course work in related area preferred.
