A group in the Tyler, Texas area is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join a dynamic team of Anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Key Responsibilities:As a Pediatric Anesthesiologist, your primary responsibility will be to provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. This includes both inpatient and outpatient surgeries, as well as GI endoscopy, vascular surgeries, trauma, neurology, obstetrics, and approximately 20% healthy pediatric cases. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety and comfort of young patients undergoing various surgical interventions.
Additionally, you will participate in a call rotation with a general call frequency of 1:16. This involves in‑house call responsibilities, complemented by off‑post call. This structure aims to provide a balanced workload while ensuring that high‑quality care is consistently available to patients.
Qualifications:To be considered for this position, candidates must possess an MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology. A pediatric fellowship is required, ensuring that you have the specialized training needed to care for pediatric patients effectively. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to thrive in a cohesive team environment.
Your ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals will be essential in delivering optimal patient care.
