Part‑Time Wound Care Specialist (1–3 days per week) to work in the Tyler, TX area. Qualified candidates will round at multiple facilities within a designated territory, providing wound care in skilled nursing and assisted living settings.

• Active state medical license (MD/DO)
• Board Certification preferred in Family Practice or Internal Medicine (General Practitioners welcome)
• Valid state driver’s license

• Weekday commitment only: no on‑call, evenings or weekends
• Deliver bedside wound care in post‑acute settings
• Round daily at multiple facilities
• No supervisory duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, focusing on wound‑risk factors
• Collaborate with facility staff to ensure an effective wound‑care plan
• Perform wound debridement and prescribe appropriate dressings
• Educate nursing staff and maintain communication with primary care physicians, families, and clinical teams as required
• Order necessary medications and provide clear usage instructions
• Provide quality care to the geriatric patient population
