The Supply Chain Manager - Deployment will be versed in all aspects of our supply chain including system knowledge, transportation, warehousing, and reporting. This position manages a team of salaried employees ensuring all aspects of deployment and inventory movement are done accurately and efficiently.
EducationCollege degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred
Experience- 5 years of inventory management experience, including deployment
- 3 years of team management experience
- Advanced excel skills, experience with an ERP system (Info-М3, SAP, Oracle), Tableau, EDI and other technical skills needed
- Experience making cost justification decisions related to service vs. cost
- Comfortable speaking and presenting to senior leadership
- Strong problem solving and process improvement skills
- Optimize national inventory deployment by ensuring precise product placement across distribution centers while achieving defined service‑level targets, including a 98.5% in‑full metric.
- Project manage continuous improvement by implementing enhancements within Soules Foods’ software, processes and tools
- Monitor and manage inventory movement to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and availability; proactively resolve shortages and balance service requirements across the network.
- Communicate service impacts clearly and professionally to both internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Cultivate strong relationships with third‑party logistics providers and supplier partners to ensure smooth, reliable product flow throughout the supply chain.
- Provide flexible support during occasional nights and weekends, leveraging remote capabilities as necessary to maintain operational continuity.
- Ensure proper product rotation and allocation by enforcing FEFO principles and maintaining accurate inventory management practices.
- Champion food safety and quality, promoting rigorous processes, safeguards, and accountability to protect product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Manage spend and service outcomes associated with daily deployment and movement decisions, ensuring cost‑effective, service‑focused execution.
- Develop strong internal partnerships and lead ongoing process improvements that enhance collaboration, performance, and end‑to‑end supply chain effectiveness.
This job is carried out in a professional office setting and involves using standard office equipment like laptops, desk phones, and smartphones. Regular visits to production facilities may also be required. During those visits, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold and/or humid conditions.
