Position Information:
Are you passionate about technology and ready to support daily operations? The Tyler District Business Services team is seeking a motivated professional to provide both IT assistance and project support across the district.
In this role, you’ll help keep our technology running smoothly by troubleshooting technical issues, supporting system connectivity, and ensuring staff have reliable tools for their daily work. At the same time, you’ll support a variety of district projects—researching and improving processes, analyzing operations, coordinating with different groups, and assisting with the planning and implementation of program goals and procedures.
The position involves frequent interaction with district leadership and requires someone who can work independently, communicate effectively, and has a positive customer service attitude.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 Minimum Salary: 60,000.00 Maximum Salary: 80,000.00 Pay Basis:Yearly | FLSA Status:

Performs advanced professional, administrative and/or consultative work in support of a program or project. Facilitates the planning, development, and implementation of goals, objectives, guidelines, procedures, schedules, priorities and/or methods for achieving program or project goals. Work requires extensive contact with department management, and external governmental agencies and organizations. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product.
Researches and develops programs, projects, activities or procedures.
Conducts program or project analyses and develops and recommends solutions/methods to increase productivity/efficiency and/or streamline operations.
- Analyzes policies and operations, identifies strategies to make improvements, and facilitates collaboration among different groups to resolve issues.
- Develops contract requirements or specifications in support of programs or projects.
- Performs site visits to provide staff assistance or in support of various management issues.
- Prepares and presents information on various programs, projects and activities to executives, departmental staff and/or at professional meetings, seminars and conferences.
- Provides training or technical support and assistance in program or project areas.
- Serves as point of contact and/or liaison for programs or special projects with other departmental staff, governmental entities and/or the public.
- Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, public administration, or a related discipline. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications.
Experience:
4 years business analysis, project or program administration, or related experience. (Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related graduate level…
