Admitting Representative Pt Texas Spine And Joint Hospital Tyler Tx

Part-time position in our fast-paced Admitting Department. Scheduled days will be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and may on occasion fill in on Tuesday or Friday if needed. Primary duties are admitting patients which include gathering and entering patient and insurance data, having required documents signed, as well as discussing finances with the patient and collecting fees.

This position will also cover the reception desk and the PBX as needed, greeting patients and answering all incoming phone calls. Requires excellent computer and customer service skills and be able to multitask under pressure. This candidate must have a professional appearance, be friendly and have a great phone voice and communication skills. One year of previous healthcare admitting experience required.
